    Two days of health and safety training, delivered via webinar. You’ll then sit the Level 1 City & Guilds Health and Safety exam online. It’s the first qualification you need before stepping onto a site.

    CSCS card

    A one-day webinar to prepare for your CSCS exam. When you’re ready, our recruitment team will arrange your test at a local centre. Once you pass, your CSCS card will be sent directly to your home.

  4. Interview & Support

    With your CSCS card, we’ll line up interviews for 300+ labourer and site roles across the UK. Before you start, a two-day induction webinar gets you site-ready. This is when you start earning.

  5. First site role

    Start earning

    Most earn while you learn students start in a site labourer role, handling maintenance, setup and clearance. PPE is provided. Pay is typically £10.65–£14.00 per hour, depending on site and location.

Traditional electrician apprenticeships typically take three to four years to complete, although there are fast-track options available at certain colleges and/or for individuals with pre-existing skills or qualifications. A standard electrical apprenticeship involves one day a week at college and four days within a related job role. The market for apprenticeship roles can be competitive, and is mainly geared towards people who are fresh out of school. That’s why we launched Earn While You Learn, which is a bit like a fast-track electrical apprenticeship that’s suitable for people of all ages and backgrounds.

Course fees depend on the pathway you pick. Essential, Professional and Premium are each priced as a package, and interest-free instalment plans are available. Your advisor will walk you through the total cost before you commit to anything.

Site labourer roles typically pay £10.65–£14.00 per hour depending on the site and the region, which works out at roughly £2,000–£2,300 a month for full-time hours. Pay rises as you qualify and take on skilled work.

Once you hold your CSCS card and have completed the induction, our recruitment team puts you forward for roles from a network of 300+ live site vacancies. We keep arranging interviews until you are placed.
